VISITING INDUSTRY (City of Pare - Pare)
Assalamualaikum. Ohayoogozaimasu.
my name is Liza. I am one semester majoring in travel business. this time I will tell you about my second tour experience.
on the first day we visited the best western Makassar hotel to do table manner.
before table manner we do a room tour. the first room we visited was a suite room, this room cost 1,200,000 rupiah including breakfast and swimming. This room has an area of 64 square meters. this room overlooks the city. and has a living room, dining table and kitchen.
the second room is the dilux room. this room is worth 600,000 rupiah. breakfast is included. This room has an area of 24 square meters. view of the room overlooking the city.
then last we visited the restaurant. this restaurant is open from 6 to 9 am. Western food and Indonesian food available. children under 5 years are free of charge. and delivery of food in the room is free of charge.
we headed to the bestwestern hotel meetingroom to conduct a table manner guided by mr. disno and mr. irvan. we also followed his instructions, listened to, and practiced what he taught. an appetizer is a chicken caesar salad with honey mustard. then followed by pumkin cream soup.
and dessert is a chocolate mousse pudding with oreo and fresh slice fruit.
after table manner we continued our journey to the city of Pare-pare. we arrived at Pare Pare precisely at the Pomegranate Sari hotel at 17.07.
then we rested for an hour and a half. and continue to have dinner at Paputo's beach. there we enjoyed the fresh air, beautiful views of the lights and the sound of the roaring waves. we ate dinner while listening to friends who sang on the stage. I also sang a song that night. ha ha.
then we returned to the hotel to continue the activity, namely the presentation. we started the presentation at 09:00 and finished the presentation at 22:45.
after that we also returned to the hotel for breakfast. after breakfast we were given time for packing and then proceeded to the "cappa end" port office of the city of Parepare.
and then headed to the "archipelago" port of Pare Pare.
in the archipelago, this is usually held like a dance when there is a cruise. cruise ships usually come from Bali, Sumba, Komodo islands, Germany, France and others. these cruises usually stop for a maximum of two days. There are also Pelni ships and tugs (ships that help other ships if they want to lean).
the length of this port is 260 meters, width of 15 meters, and the area of its derma is 280 x 65 meters. This port began operating since around 1960. The existing institutions there are:
1. PELINDO
2. KSOP (managing ship correspondence)
3. Customs
4. migration
5. harbor health.
usually in one year there are two or 1 cruise ship that rests.
the large passenger capacity of the ship can be seen from the symbol GT (gross tons) the smaller the GT number, the less the capacity of the ship and vice versa.
After that, we visited Mr. Habibie's house which has now been used as a museum.
Before going to Mr. Habibie's house, we visited Carlo, which is a shopping place by the typical pare-pare city food like mantao bread.
our last visit to the terrace empang restaurant. This restaurant has a beautiful view, with a background of mountains and waters. the shape of this restaurant building resembles a ship and the floor is made of wood. this restaurant is good to be a moment to take pictures with friends because of the unique shape of the building.
After we have lunch. we finally headed to Makassar precisely on our beloved campus namely the Makassar tourism polytechnic on the afternoon before sunset.
